It stopped launching. iPhone 6s+, iOS 10. Fix it please.
Just what Ive been looking for. Different types of barcodes you can choose from. Amazing
This is easily the best barcode/QR code scanner app available right now. It has a clean interface, is fast and sensitive, and provides one of the widest available arrays of supported code types. And its completely free, with no ads! I dont have a use for the Stingray feature, which streamlines the interface for quickly scanning many codes, but I can see it being very useful for business users. The app also has some nice, subtle features, such as a quick highlight of the barcode that has busy been read, which is useful when there are several visible at the same time, and the reporting of the code type used. There is also a lot here for geeks, with the ability to turn off individual code types and tweak settings for the scanning algorithm. The only thing I think this app is still missing is support for Maxicode, the hexagonal dot array code used by UPS. Other than that, this app is great! I have several others, but this one is always my first choice.
Easy to use
no ads? fast? lots of code types? no micropayments? a nice ui that actually makes it f***ing simple to copy a url to your clipboard? this app rocks.
Best app for decoding whatever 2d or 3D barcode you come across. Youll love geeking out with this tool to see what is encoded on your boarding pass or drivers license.
Works fast and every time.
Failed on some QR codes formed to make pics that other scanners scanned. Will give you a blank screen with a big +. Hit the +, but nothing happens. How do I get back to scanning? Its a bad unintuitive interface not worth messing with. This isnt the only game in town. Does the dev team test? Uninstalled.
I work in the Pharmaceutical industry and I work in the packaging and new technology. In my line of troubleshooting I need to configure different types of Barcodes. I tried multiple (more than 15) barcode apps and I found the best app for my job. This app can read multiple barcodes configuration making my onsite job simple and faster. Dont look anywhere else this is the best barcode app! FYI Ive never rated an app before so this may tell you how happy Im with this.
After update it is not launching in iPhone 6 with iOS 10
Works well, even on my old 5th gen iPod Touch running iOS 8.
This app is the single most useful app i have when working with leads
Without question handles almost every bar code format out there. I havent run into one it hasnt successfully scanned yet with the exception of some proprietary postal 2D codes. Am also appreciative of the "Share Code" button. Thanks !!!
Has accurately read every barcode Ive thrown at it. I particularly find it useful that it lets me know the name of the standard, working on a printshop that is an essential tool.
The app is pretty good; a little too sensitive for my tastes. But it has a fatal flaw: the button at the top center puts it into Stingray mode, and the only way to get out of that mode is to uninstall the app.
The interface is beautiful! But I wish you were able to do a batch scan mode. Also if you were able to add a quantity amount to the end of the UPC code. I use apps like these to send orders to my coworkers and if this app were capable of doing that I would drop the other apps in a heartbeat!
Works great scans any type of barcode you have
Barcode scanning is working nice, but the result is always shown twice on the screen in 2 lines. When scanning a short EAN code it is only a small optical problem to see the result twice. But in case of longer codes (i.e. PDF417) the result is unreadable because of an overlapping doubled text. Its very impracticable to copy the result and paste it in another app always to be able to read it. So I can give only a maximum of 2 stars until the bug is fixed. EDIT: I use an iPad Mini with iOS 6.0.1.
Shipping businesses, DHL e. g., often use several adjacend barcodes on their labels. The automatic scan goes off when it recognizes any of those codes, mostly one on the edge. Its kind of tricky and sometimes a tedious business to catch a code in the center. A manual trigger would be helpful in such a case. A hint: when scanning takes a long time, or even fails, switching to high resolution fixes it, at least it did for me. For an iPad the best code scanning app I found so far.
